Shipping Policy

International Shipping

 

As a small business we take a hands on approach to international purchases. Our shipping companies are MDS Collivery and DHL.

 

Your first step is to let us know which artworks you'd like to purchase. You can do that by completing the Contact form on our Contact page or emailing us at renalexis@live.com. You're also more than welcome to contact us through our social media sites. When you've informed us of your choice(s), we'll ask you for your shipping address which will enable us to get a shipping fee, for you, from our shipping company. At this stage we'll need your email and cellphone number to add to our Invoice and for shipping, and we'll send you an Invoice showing the total cost of your purchase. Now you can make your payment. We use Paypal as our payment gate. When your payment reflects on Paypal, the processing and shipping of your purchase will begin.  It can take up to 14 days to ship your artwork(s), and we'll keep you updated regarding the process.

Please take note, customs charges e.g. fees for VAT and duties is the responsibility of the buyer.

Local Shipping: South Africa

​

René Alexis uses MDS Collivery and Postnet to courier products within South Africa. We use Collivery's Next Day, Road Freight Express and Road Freight options, as well as the Postnet to Postnet option provided by Postnet.

 

Your first step is to contact us. You can do that through our Contact form on our Contact page, through social media sites, or email us at renalexis@live.com and let us know which artworks you'd like to purchase.  When you've informed us, we'll ask you for your shipping address so we can request a shipping fee from our shipping company for you. Thereafter, we'll send you an Invoice which will show the total cost of your purchase. At this stage you can make your payment. You can do an EFT or do your payment through Paypal. When your payment reflects in our bank account or on Paypal, the processing and shipping of your purchase will begin.  It can take up to 14 days to ship your artwork(s), and we'll keep you updated regarding the process.

Here are the Courier options mentioned above:

Postnet to Postnet

​

  • Your package will be delivered to a Postnet nearest to you. Take note, this option only assures delivery to a Postnet nearest to you. It's your responsibility to collect your package.

  • This option is for packages up to 5kg.

  • It will take approximately 2 - 3 business days to be delivered, and 1 extra day if delivery is in outlying/regional areas.

 

Collivery: Next Day

  • Packages will be delivered to your door.

  • This option is for packages under 2kg.

  • For courier between main centres, your package will arrive the next day.

  • Add one more day for courier to outlying areas.

 

Collivery: Road Freight Express

​

  • Packages will be delivered to your door.

  • This option is for packages up to 5kg.

  • It will take approximately 2 business days for your package to be delivered, if you reside in a main centre.

  • Courier to outlying areas will take longer

 

Collivery: Road Freight

​

  • Packages will be delivered to your door.

  • This option is for packages up to 10kg.

  • It will take 2 - 3 business days for your package to be delivered, if you reside in a main centre.

  • Delivery will take longer for outlying areas.

Back order and Shipping:

​

Art Prints of my Artworks are available on back order. Back order means, your chosen Art Prints get processed on purchase. It will take up to 14 days to process your Prints; thereafter it will go to a shipping company to be shipped. When your package has been received by the shipping company, their delivery times will be of effect.
